Acer Iconia Tab A100

It has been a long time since Acer has announced their works on the 7-inch Iconia A100 Honeycomb tablet and ever since mobile fanatics all over have been waiting for its availability. It seems that after the long wait the latest Honeycomb tablet from Acer is finally scheduled to land in the stores by August.

The Android is said to be powered by 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and it has 512MB of RAM while also featuring a 1024×600 pixel resolution. It will most probably be launched with Android 3.2 as it the only Honeycomb version that is better suited for Androids with small screens.
Other features include: micro USB 2.0; a 5 MP and 2MP rear and front cameras; capacitive multi-touch support, micro HDMI, built-in flash memory storage with microSD slot expansion; Wi-Fi n; and, Bluetooth 2.1.
However, there is no word yet about the exact launch date for the Iconia Tab A100 which is presumably priced at $300.
